Garbage is collected Monday mornings, place garbage at the curb before 8am in a clear or white plastic bag, NO RECYCLABLES! 1 bag per residence, additional bags may be placed at the curb with Garbage Sticker purchased at Village Clerk’s office for $1/sticker. Browntown Village Board Meetings are the 2nd Wednesdays of the month at 6:30 pm unless posted and will be at Village Hall, 110 S Mill Street, Browntown, WI 53522. Public is always welcome.

No, the Village Hall is not available for reservations. Browntown Civic Center 107 S Mill Street, is available for reservations, $100 Civic Center with Kitchen, $75 if only Civic Center, $25 returned with clean up. Contact Paige at (608) 558-0189.

 

Yes, Browntown Community Park Shelters are available for reservations! Want to reserve a park shelter? Reserve a park shelter for the day for $50, want to use the kitchen facilities as well, additional $25/day. Contact clerk via contact form on website, phone (608) 966-3273 or [email protected]. Your reservation will be added to the Village Calendar.

Yes! Browntown has a museum, it is located at 110 S Mill Street, Browntown, WI 53522-it is adjoined to the Village Hall. It is open the FIRST Sunday in June, July and August from 1pm to 3pm. Want to visit some other time? Please contact Helen for visit, (608) 966-3514. It is FREE to enter, donations are welcome!

YES! Browntown Jordan Cadiz Fire Department is always looking for volunteers! Become a volunteer firefighter and/or emergency medical first responder, you just need to be over 18 years of age and willing to help out your community. Meetings are Tuesday nights (except any 5th Tuesdays of the month). Learn skills, meet new people, help out with Browntown Summerfest and Fireman's Fish Boil. Junior Firefighters are available for those aged 16-18 years of age.
